Blog 10: xoxo

Hi people!

Today in my blog, I will talk about my experience writing blogs (xD) because this is my last blog on this page and in this semester :). This is the first time I have such an experience as writing in blogger, I had never dedicated myself to write about my life on social media, although as a child I wrote poems (very darks), but not even to attempt to wrote them in English (and with a note :OO ), although it sounds strange I learned a lot writing here and I had fun writing things that I never thought I would (like music apps). My only experience in something similar was when I was a teenager, when I had FOTOLOG (don’t judge me) and I wrote a bit about my life, experiences and friends ... although luckily I closed that page and that evidence is now in the past (hahaha)

In my opinion, if I had to write about something else, it would be sports, because I’m now practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and I love it infinitely, it is the best sport that I have ever do in my life. I would write about some extra activities to, which I do outside the university, like going out, some little hobbies, or some important relationships in life. It would be good to write about more everyday things that happen to us on a daily basis, because finally, they are what builds us day by day.

blog 9 - Chiloé

Hi people!

Today in my blog I will talk about my next trip to Castro, Chiloé, that will be probably in july, I still don’t get tickets, because I’m waiting to finish this semester in the university. In Castro lives my mom and Magda's paternal grandmother, magda is my little daughter, who, as my mom, is there in Castro waiting for me at this moment, she has been there with her dad for a week now.

I love to travel, I am very used to it, as a child I’ve always traveled, and even more now that my mommy <3 is living in Chiloé, I got the imperant duty to go to visit her at last 3 times a year. My ideal place to travel are cold places, with trees, rivers, stones, rain and mountains. I love to go trekking and camping in places far from the city. I hope this summer to go to camp somewhere with my beloved daughter and my boyfriend.

blog 8 - Ceramic

Hi people!

Today in my blog, I will talk about my ceramic workshop, because I have learned so much this semester there, and I have loved making ceramic pieces. This year I made a wall with small pieces of ceramics that I have painted, in total there were 180 pieces that I painted every week, cooking in the ceramic oven and improving in each piece, it was a big job, which now, once concluded the semester, I can see on foot. I am very happy to see the results of my work and effort. Also, I enjoyed making ceramic masks, which I began to do because I like theater a lot.

I really like the ceramic because it is a job that you start to make from very basic elements, clay, talc, chamote are some of the elements to start making the ceramic paste, then you start to craft what you want and go to the first baking in the oven, that's what you call “to biscuit”. Then, you have to enamel the piece and it goes to the last cooking and that way your make a beautiful piece of ceramic <3 

That's why I've had so much fun in this subject.

Blog 7: Camille Claudel

Vertumo and Ponona - Camille Claudel

Hi People!

Today in my blog, I will talk about my favorite artist, she is Camille Claudel. She is a most beautiful sculpture in the all time (for me), she left a work of great talent. her naturalism with features of impressionism and symbolism always sought the drama in sculpture.

Some of her great works are “vertumo and ponona”, in which Roman mythology served as a metaphor for love and deceit that she lived with Rodin. Another work, “the mature age” was created during her separation with Rodin

After separating from Rodin, she fell into a psychotic state and burned a large part of his work.  Recent biographies talk about abuse and manipulation in their environment: she was forced to enter a psychiatric hospital where she died after thirty years of confinement and without creating any work

Camille is very important for me in history, because it shows that it is possible to sculpture the emotion and sensitivity of a person. She also did it with a perfect technique and a great audacity to face the male chauvinist of her time

Blog 6

Blog 6: my nice dog, Duke <3  

Hi people!

Today in my blog, I will talk about my dog, Duke, he´s  adopted from the street. Duke is one years old, still is a puppie, he is also a mixed dog, but i love a duke :3, his is black and white and has the very big ears ^.^  

My favorite memory with duke, is when while I’m sleeping, duke gets closer with his cold and wet nose (sometimes i hate that action) and look at my face with his sweet glance and move his tail (it is very  cute)

another memory with duke now with Magda (my daughter) is when they are playing, and magda placed paint in all  duke’s face … his look is very funny xD

Duke became my favorite pet in the all world, because he is a Magda’s friend, they are playing every day, and duke is so loyal, smarts, jumpi (it is true.. he always jumps e.e, sometimes is freak)     

I do not have  pictures of my pets (you will miss a beautiful dog :P) but in another occasion i share a picture this her

Blog 5: magda's picture

Hi people

Today in my blog, I' am will talk about a special picture. she is a my beautiful daughter and your favorite doll, my kid her name ir Magdalena Beatriz and she is a two years old, but her birthdays is this thursday (16 of may *-*) I am so happy for my daughter, she gets so big and pretty :3

The picture was taken by me, a last week (she looked so sweet, watch the horizon so seriously jijiji ), we were in the transantiago, going to park, close to grandmother’s house. and i like to pick but it was a pretty day for magda and our family where she play with her cousin all day

I like to take a Magda’s pic because she every day is greater and i don’t want to forget moments of her life. But always i have precaution of make public her image because she is  very young.

Blog 4: Bread and Roses

Hi people ✌!

In the last class, we watch a movie, the name was Bread and roses. I like the movie very much and  seem so interesting because is a subject that is not seen very often.

My favorite character in the movie is Rosa, Maya's big sister. I like her Because she is an antagonic carácter who seem invisible, but with conviction and strength that only a few caracters have in the film.

The best scene in Bread and Roses is when Sam, Maya and the union have a big argueing. It is a searing speech by Rosa, delivered by Carrillo with such force and truth, that it Could Have won the Oscar. If the academy voters in their well cleaned buildings ever saw movies like this.

Rosa faces and breaks Maya's idealism with the awful truth, telling her sister that she worked as a prostitute to pay for her education and indeed slept with the supervisor to get a job. "I've been whoring all my life, and I'm tired", she says. Now she has a sick husband and kids to feed, and they take priority over the union. This is my favorite scene in the film.

Finally, the worst part for me, is when in the maya’s game with a buttom of the elevator, it me seem boring and meeting, what have seen scene best for other scenes in special of the movie.

My favorite piece of technology

Hi!✌

Today I will talk about my favorite piece technology.

It is my beautiful smartphone, which is a huawei mate 10 📱💕

I have it since last year and it have a lot of good qualities that I love, for example it have 64 gb of storage capacity, an incredible good camera which helps me to take photos to my daughter and all sort of things that I like, and above all It have the app that I love the most, Spotify 🎶💕, in this app I can find all the music that I want and listen to it when I like only paying a little cost, it also helps me to discover new music because it recommends me songs that are related to the ones that I listen, because of the genre, type of instruments or whatever. I use my cellphone everyday, Spotify helps me when I’m doing exercise in the gym, the music motivates me to go further and to force my body and muscles when I’m exhaust. It also is a good company on my way to the university, I’m never bored with my music sounding behind. I think my life would be a little boring without my smartphone, but it would be fine anyway.

The reason why I choose to study studio atr

How are you?

Today I will speak about how I decided to study studio arts.

First of all when I was a child I went to many artistic events with my mom because she is an actress,

so she used to take me with she to see her plays.

In that events I helped my mom doing different activities like acting, event production,

face painting, parades and a lot of different things that linked me to the art work.

So, since I was very young I love artistic activities, especially which were related to the visual work.

Although before studying studio arts I thought of studying other careers like graphic design, advertising,

even law but none of them seemed to be as fascinating as art, so I decided that it would be my first option

after doing PSU and I have to say that I don’t regret it, because now that I’m on my last year of the career

I’m very happy with my decision and I’m looking to specialize in cultural management.

My baby biography

Hi✌, 

My Name is Isadora Alvarado Recabarren, and I was born on August 6th, 1993 in Chile.

I went in the elementary to Altamira's School on Santiago,  and when I started the High School I moved to Chiloe then I ended my school years in a public school named "Galvarino Riveros Cárdenas".

I study Plastic Arts 🎨with a Bachelor degree on Ceramics in "Universidad de Chile". 

I used to live with my mom in Castro, Chiloe but now I live by myself with a roommate in my house on Peñalolen.

I have one half brother and one half sister of my dad side, also when I was on my second year of university I had a daughter.

My daughter Magdalena 👶has two and half years now, also we have two pets one cat named Miu and one dog called Duke.

Nowadays i'm on my fourth and last year of university, and my daughter is going to the Kindergarten, also I love to take care of my house, specially of my garden and plants.
